Irish Pub Concepts
In a crowded market of pubs, microbreweries, bars and restaurants, the Guiness Irish Pub Concept cuts through the clutter and boasts a 99 percent success rate since arriving in the U.S. in 1996. Using a prescribed business model to recreate the authentic atmosphere of a true Irish pub, this successful concept has been used to open more than 1,800 pubs in 53 countries since 1992. “The IPC is most successful pub concept in the world. It offers all the benefits of a branded franchise without the downside; there are no royalties; no fees and best of all no rule books!” said James Fellowes, a director in commercial development for Guinness USA. With such a fast moving, vibrant and international offering, Guinness needed a site they could use to quickly inform, educate and sell to potential “Irish Pub Concept” owners. Media-Hive worked with Byte Interactive as part of an industry-leading team that designed and built the Irish Pub Concepts website. Responsible for all of the Macromedia Flash elements of the site, we delivered on brand, informational and marketing assets that reinforced the concept whilst giving it a fast paced interactive twist.Of course all of this was achieved whilst having Craic.* People in Ireland have crack all the time. Especially in pubs. And they’re not doing anything illegal. That’s because they’re having ‘craic’, Gaelic for fun. When you open an Irish pub, you are in fact, importing Craic from Ireland. You will want to hear your customers spread the word that there’s ‘mighty Craic to be had altogether’ in your Irish Pub. (Quote, Irish Pub Concepts)
